At Beehavior Fitness we believe fitness is more than a routine, it's a lifestyle and a commitment to becoming the best version of yourself. Founded in 2021 by Chief Executive Officer, JaNay Terry, we're dedicated to providing inclusive effective and empowering fitness programs that meet every individual where they are. With over 12 years in the industry, our programs are designed for all ages and fitness levels including specialized classes like our Band Camp resistance band class, StrongBody55+ for seniors and group training sessions for humans of all sizes. Beehavior Fitness goes beyond physical training, we're building a supportive community where everyone is encouraged to push their limits and celebrate their progress. After gaining 80lbs during her pregnancy, JaNay struggled losing the baby weight she had gained so quickly. After 2 years of trying on her own, she decided to join a gym where she began taking group fitness classes. Finally, she began to lose the weight while also falling in love with the process. So much so, that she decided to become an instructor to help inspire others who may be facing similar struggles. Along her new career journey, JaNay had to overcome her social anxiety, while balancing being a single mother and working full time in corporate America. In 2021, she started Beehavior FItness and just 2 years later quit
her full-time job to pursue a full-time career in fitness.
With over a decade of experience in the fitness industry, JaNay is a NASM certified personal trainer, AFAA certified fitness instructor, and NASM women's fitness Specialist (WFS). She is currently pursuing her certification as a Behavior Change Specialist (BCS) and Senior Fitness Specialist. (SFS) Her mission is to help people of all ages live healthy active lives through movement and small behavior changes, while staying confident. She has dedicated her career to promoting health and wellness for women of all backgrounds and committed to empowering women through fitness.
We are dedicated to sharing the word of fitness to community. Whether its information on exercise basics for the beginner, prenatal and postpartum fitness, 55+ Aging adults' fitness, or fitness for the busy mom, we are committed to empowering our community with the tools they need to lead healthier lives. We love sharing knowledge!
